OR#2

I am about a third of the way done with my book and the main character lowell is still talking about his disorder. I am going to read more of it over winter break. He also talks about how he made some perscription drug manufactured with the help of the tourette association.

Outside reading

I was sure what to blog about because I couldn't find it on edline, but my outside reading book is called Twitch and Shout by Lowell Handler and it is about tourette syndrom. The main character is Lowell and it is about his life with tourettes and what he does about it. He also travels around the country meeting people and taking pictures because he is a photographer.

One Confusion I have is...doing the work cited. I didn't really understand how to do it and I sort of got it but I felt like I was repeating a bunch. It was very confusing.

Gambling Oppostition

Other people may think that gambling is good and that it doesn't do harm to people or society but they are wrong. Gambling can be apart of almost anything. It can be in sports and give something or people a bad name. Gambling addiction can ruin a family and you can lose your friends and your job. People think gambling is fine, but it is not.

Research Question

My topic is gambling. I am against gambling addicts. I am against gambling addiction because I think it can be harmful to people and it can tear families apart.

A Civil Action Review

I thought the film was good but I don't think i would watch it again. I liked the parts where the people were finding out new information to help their case, but it frustrated me when the people Jan asked questions to didn't give him good information. Overall i thought the film was pretty good.
